The 'Flying Singh' came in second position at the Rally of China in Huizhou yesterday, fininshing ahead of rival Armin Kremer. The APRC championship battle is a race between Karamjit and Kremer. Karamjit led Kremer by 10 points after winning the Rally of Japan last month. Owing to some cock-up, the official results were not available till late yesterday evening. Protests were filed by some of the drivers who finished out of the podium. These protests are unlikely to affect Karamjit's standing and he should have the championship in the bag once the results are sorted out, even before the last race in India next month. The Sports MINIster has pledged financial support for Karamjit and Ho's effort in the final races but news of the big announcement regarding the funds are still awaited.
