SAMY No Plagiarist!

This poem was earlier attributed to the Rt Honourable Works Minister, one Samy Vellu ::

‘From this day forward
You shall not walk alone.
Her heart will be your shelter,
And her arms will be your home.
A mountain needs a valley to be complete;
the valley does not make
the mountain less, but more;
and the valley is more a valley because
it has a mountain towering over it’

It was reported by this newspaper that the Honourable Minister had penned it to commemorate the recent marriage of our PM to Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah.

A Malaysiakini letter writer outed that the Honourable Minister was rather dishonourable as his poem was quite similar to these two, here and here. How can this be so for the Honourable Minister is one honest, upright, dignified dude and not capable of such things?

Next the poor Honourable Minister was compared to one who previously worked in a certain national paper and the Honourable Minister was said to have done a Brendan P.

But in my heart of hearts, me knew that our Honourable Minister was quite incapable of doing what they were saying. He is the Minister-in-charge of building our magnificent highways and byways and many superlative buildings like Mudtrade and the world's 2nd largest court complex etc etc etc, as well as a superb architect, a gentleman and champion of the poor; but a plagiarist he is not.

And me has been proven right. You just got to check this out, it was certainly not him but this press sec of his who is to blame! The Honourable Minister certainly has a very reliable, honourable and timely press sec who took all of 4 to 5 long days to take the blame. But whatever, SAMY is NO PLAGIARIST, whateverelse he may be.

Congrats to the Soon-to-be Newly-Weds

In BolehLand, rumours are often proven to be true. It was not too long ago that our "truthful" PM assigned to the rumour-mill the news that he would remarry soon.

This report in Malaysiakini is said to have confirm that he and Jeanne Abdullah would be married this Saturday.

Congrats to the Soon-to-be Newly-Weds and may they have many many blissful and fruitful years together.

During their blissful and joyful times, could the newly-weds please spend some time thinking over the problems being faced by another couple who has been planning to wed for a long time but has somehow been prevented from doing so because of some problems with the MyKad belonging to one of them. If the PM is not aware please to check this item out. Isn't it time to ensure that Joy is allowed to enjoy the Joys of wedded life too? What say you, PM for all, Sir?
