Abdullah Ahmad Badawi a "liar and a hypocrite"???

Is it true that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is a "liar and a hypocrite"?

According to this report in Malaysiakini, the DAP thinks so.

The DAP revealed at a press conference at the Parliament lobby today, documents containing instructions to different ministries to award all government contracts to bumiputera companies only.

In August this year the PM again dismissed claims that he practiced favouritism to any particular race and he vowed to continue treating all communities equally. But these documents revealed by the DAP showed otherwise. Since taking over from TDM, PM Abdullah had repeatedly state that he is a PM for all Malaysians but is he?

Do Malaysians want to be treated equally and fairly by this PM for all? No prize for the correct 5X answer. Do all these documents make our truthful PM a "liar and a hypocrite"? Again no prize is available for a correct 5X answer.

Is the PM truthful when he said today that the B Nasional gomen always ensured that implementation of development was balanced in accordance with the National Mission approach. (What may one ask is this?). He also stated that the B Nasional gomen would go to great lengths to develop Malaysia into a progressive, peaceful and safe country for the people of all races and the future generations. Would you believe that every decision of the B Nasional gomen in developing the country was made for the good of all the races and for them to enjoy the benefits together? As we all have found out over the past 4 long years of his helmsmanship how truthful he truly is, surely we all know which party we should vote in at the next election. To read more of how truthful this hadhari PM of us is, check out this Bernama item.

The successful BolehNaut mission has also also shown how truthful a gomen we have. A gomen willing to reveal all about the true aims of our space programme. This successful mission was according to our PM, an important and major success for BolehLand first space project. The PM further truthfully said the government wanted this involvement in space science to be tapped and well programmed, and set the stage for the next level. The next phase included sending another BolehNaut for the next space mission. The PM said that the success of this 1st mission showed how serious the gomen was in pursuing this programme. He truthfully announced that it is not the gomen aim to merely go on a (space) tour or watch the earth from space but the gomen have bigger objectives, to carry out research, and even now the European countries and Japan are waiting for the outcome of our 1st BolehNaut's research.

Standing Few Inches Taller?

Malaysiakini carried an AFP report which says Malaysians are walking tall after the space odyssey by our BolehNaut. Is there anyone feeling like so out there? For one, yours truly is feeling lower today and walking with a slump thinking of how the RM90,000,000 spent on the space odyssey could have been better spent.

To hear of our space-loving DPM claimed that the return of the BolehNaut from space was a historic moment that made his BolehLander countymen "stand a few inches taller", makes one wonder whether what is occupying his skull vault is but empty space. Is anyone one out there standing a few inches taller? For one, yours truly has not had a height enhancement experience recently.

To make matter worse after throwing RM90,000,000 into empty space, the DPM is talking of asking us to throw more down that empty alley. Already he is mulling sending another Malaysian space flight participant into space. Isn't one BolehNaut sufficient for the BolehLand Book of Record? My earlier suspicions that there is much empty space within the DPM's skull vault is confirmed by his saying this ::
"Since the next expedition would involve public funds, the government would have to convince the public of the need of the mission".

Is he saying that our 1st BolehNaut's trip was financed by him? Is he trying to bluff anyone by claiming that public funds were not involved in our 1st BolehNaut's recent space frolic or his and his better-half attendence at the off-target touchdown? Is he, like his "slow-mo" somnambulistic superior taking us for denizens with similarly empty-spaced cerebral vaults? One only have to check out this BERNAMA article to realise that the somnambulistic PM is no better than the DPM. They maybe able to bluff some of us all the time, all of us some of the time but never all of us all the time. But then again with empty spaces within their skull vaults, who really knows.

All right thinking Malaysians should stand up and be counted and protest at the waste of public funds to send another BolehNaut out there into empty space. One BolehNaut is sufficient for the moment. The next BolehNaut can be a self-financed one and he/she would already have achieve a first :: The 1st Self-Financed BolehNaut!

More Firsts by BolehNaut

By returning to earth yesterday our BolehNaut had created more firsts for himself and BolehLand.

01. 1st BolehNaut to return to earth after going into space.

02. 1st BolehNaut to experience off-target (see Malaysiakini) "ballastic re-entry ballastic landing" on return after being the 1st BolehNaut to go into space.

03. 1st BolehNaut to have celebrated the end of the holy month of Ramadan aboard the ISS in space in the 1428.

04. 1st BolehNaut to have conducted, among other experiments, the examination of the the impact of microgravitation on the coordination of eye and head movements and the evolution of cancerous cells in weightless conditions for BolehLand's Genome Institute.

05. 1st BolehNaut to have succssfully completed an 11-day stint in space and returned safely and in good condition as proclaimed by Najib.

06. 1st BolehNaut to be the 2nd passenger to get out of the Soyuz TMA-10 capsule after its safe return at 6.37pm Malaysian time on 21st Oct 2007.

07. 1st BolehNaut to be greeted on return by, among others, his parents, his brother the Malaysian DPM, the Malaysian Science, Technology and Innovation Minister and their wives. The BolehNaut's space trip was paid by the Malaysian taxpayers. One wonders whether who paid for the Russian trip of those on hand to greet him on his return?

08. 1st BolehNaut to have brought about the affixation of the logo of the Malaysian angkasawan mission on the wall of the Malaysian Technical Control Centre, a symbol of Malaysia's success in completion of her 1st ever space mission at the expense of Malaysian taxpayers.

Now have we forgotten any other firsts by this 1st BolehNaut?

Malaysia Bolehnaut, aka Angkasawan aka Astro-naut, aka Cosmonaut aka Naut Naut
Biggest Challenge and 5 Interesting Experiments

Many of you must have heard or known of our 1st Malaysian in Space. The Ortho surgeon, part-time model and part-restaurant owner and food critic and one-soon-to-be named Datuk/Dato Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Sheikh Mustapha started off by being called by many as Malaysia Bolehnaut and now is also variously called an astro-naut, astro-scientist, cosmo-naut, angkasawan, SFPA (space flight participant/attendent or even by many as a naut-naut. Lets not get involved in the controversies. You can check out these controversies in sites like Malaysiakini, Bernama, and many of the mainstream print media and blogs. Lets also not be involved in the controversies of the astro-nomical cost of RM 90,000,000 needed to obtained Malaysia's Bolehnaut.

Lets instead talk of what our Bolehnaut-naut has achieved so far ::

1. 1st Bolehnaut to be congratulated by the Agong and Queen
2. 1st Bolehnaut to be congratulated by TDM
3. 1st Bolehnaut Goes Into Space, Nation Sets History
4. 1st Bolehnaut To Spur Country To Greater Heights
5. 1st Bolehnaut Indulges In Noble Cause
6. 1st Bolehnaut Is An Astronaut, Says Former NASA Spaceman
7. 1st Bolehnaut Causes A National Standstill Moments Before Launch
8. 1st Bolehnaut Leaves Three Letters For Parents
9. 1st Bolehnaut A National Idol
10.1st Bolehnaut Makes Business Partner Proud
11.1st Bolehnaut Stories Appear in S'pore Media
12.1st Bolehnaut Stories appear on BBC News
13.1st Bolehnaut Stories played down by Indonesian Press
14.1st Bolehnaut To Be Greeted By Najib On His Return From Space
15.1st Bolehnaut Docks with ISS
16.1st Bolehnaut Celebrates Raya in Space
17.1st Bolehnaut programme, the gomen will carry out a post-mortem
18.1st Bolehnaut faces Teleconference Hitch
19.1st Bolehnaut :: "The Longest Eight Minutes Of My Life"
20.1st Bolehnaut Entitled To Be Called A Scientist
21.1st Bolehnaut Gets to Speak to PM
22.1st Bolehnaut Helps In Research For Other Countries
23.1st Bolehnaut Prepares for Return to Earth
24.1st Bolehnaut to be Commissioned as Cosmonaut on his return

With more than 20 achievements already under his belt, our Bolehnaut achieved even more today. Today he extended his achievements by carrying some very interesting experiments and revealing to us his biggest challenge in space.

1st the biggest challenge. Our 1st Bolehnaut revealed that his biggest challenge in space at the ISS was sleeping in the same place like people would do on earth.

His interesting experiments are listed below ::

01. The first was the spinning of the Malaysian traditional game gasing (top), where he attached a string to a 95-gramme top made of aluminium and let it spin in mid-air in horizontal and vertical positions for less than a minute.

02. The second experiment, our Bolehnaut pressed a pack containing strawberry juice which came out within seconds in a jelly-like substance floating in mid-air.
He later used a spoon to scoop the floating jelly and put it into his mouth.

03. The third experiment involved the mixing of oil and water in a square-shaped crystal box with the substances mixing well in microgravity condition. In normal situation oil floats on top of water.

04.In his fourth experiment our Bolehnaut showed the audience on earth how a yo-yo would swing in microgravity condition.
Under normal circumstances, a yo-yo goes up and down when in play but in a microgravity condition, the yo-yo goes up, down and to the front as well.

05. In the last experiment, our Bolehnaut showed the differences in velocity of three balls of different sizes, travelling in microgravity.
The balls appeared to have moved in slow motion during the experiment.

Our 1st Bolehnaut is scheduled to return to Earth on Oct 21 with two Russians astronauts, Commander Fyodor Yurchikhin and Flight Engineer Oleg Kotov. We can be sure that he will achieve even more before returning and even when he is back on good old Earth. Stay tuned. We deserve our RM90,000,000 worth.

BERNAMA :: Mahathir Begins New Life At ......

As we all know the former PM, the Tun is presently in IJN recuperating from his 2 recent heart surgeries.

BERNAMA today has this on its website ::

Mahathir Begins New Life At AlBukhary Orphanage

Is this BERNAMA's idea of a joke?

Of course in the article proper, the Mahathir Mohamad referred to is the orphan whose parents died in the earthquake that hit Pulau Nias in Indonesia two years ago.

Witness Protection Bill :: Fumbler Nazri

After telling one and all that whistleblowers are protected and even going to the extent of offering plastic surgery, see Malaysiakini, fumbler Nazri is whistling another tune.

He now says he will push for the Witness Protection Bill to be tabled in Parliament as soon as possible and for it to be made retrospective.

Is it possible to make this fumbler disappear retrospectively?

Does the PM really have need of such a minister who promises something that does not yet exist? A de facto law minister who does not know his Bills and i am told he is a lawyer too! It is obvious he knows not what he is shouting about. At the least he should check his facts first before shooting himself in the foot. No wonder he is showing himself up to be a laughing stock.

His fumble is not confined to BolehLand but those who follow the BBC also know lah, check out BBC's Malaysia witness offered surgery. MalaysiaBoleh!

Penang Global City Centre (PGCC)

The PGCC project was launched by the Prime Minister on Sept 12, 2007. This project will see the present Penang Turf Club land on Jalan Scotland turned into a concrete jungle. A concrete jungle with its associated drastic impacts on the environment, traffic congestion and living.

The PGCC Campaign Group held a public forum on Sunday on the Implications of the Penang Global City Centre project on Penangites. The facilitators of the forum were Meenakshi Raman, a leading consumer affairs lawyer, and Dr. Goh Ban Lee, a well-known writer and expert on local government.

The PGCC Campaign Group consists of a number of NGOs who are concerned over the negative impacts of this project. Click here for a background on the project and its possible negative impacts.

If you happen to be similarly concerned, do express your concern to the Penang Chief Minister or the Prime Minister or the MP YB Chia Kwang Chye. To find out how and for more details go to Penang Heritage Trust website. This site is certainly worth a good look while you think about the PGCC.

One can also find out more of the PGCC and its impacts here.

LINGAM TAPES :: Why Royal Commission Needed

The gomen has set up an independent panel of three to investigate the authenticity of the Lingam tape. Is this going in the right direction? Or has the gomen got an agenda of its own? According to Malaysiakini, the independent panel is only tasked to determine the authenticity of the said tape. How will this panel help to stem the rot in the judiciary?

Check out Disquiet here to find out.

It is quite obvious to most, the gomen being an exception, that a Royal Commission of Inquiry is the proper means of addressing all aspects of the problems faced by the judiciary presently. Those who agree should sign the Petition to the DYMM Yang Dipertuan Agong by the People’s Parliament. One can do so, here. Every signature counts.

Just in case you are not sure who is also guilty for the present rotten state of the judiciary, please go and look in the mirror! That guy staring back at you is one of those responsible. We should not fear a fair and just judiciary but presently the fear is there, so said a former Lord President. He reportedly lamented in 2000 ::
“I wouldn’t like to be tried by today’s judges,

Especially if I am innocent.”
*

The late former Lord President also said ::
“It is not enough for Government to have confidence in the judiciary if the public does not. It is not enough for the courts only to go through the motion of a trial. It is not enough if justice seems to be done if in fact justice has not been done.”

If you agree that ONLY a Royal Commission of Inquiry can stem the rot and save the judiciary, sign the Petition by sending your name and KP no. to savethejudiciary@gmail.com. Every signature counts.
